While not directly rated in togs, here is a helpful guide:
- 250 GSM Winter Snuggle Comforters feel similar to a 12–13.5 tog winter duvet.
- 150 GSM All Seasons Snuggle Comforters feel closer to a 7–9 tog duvet, depending on room temperature and sleeping style.
Because Snuggles use fleece rather than a cotton casing, the warmth feels more consistent, reducing the cold spots commonly found in traditional duvets.
Why We Don’t Use Tog Ratings
Tog ratings measure heat retention of cotton-based quilts under laboratory conditions. Snuggle Comforters behave differently because they combine warm fleece, stitched-through construction, and an even inner fill. This creates a wrapped, cosy warmth that doesn’t translate neatly into a tog score.
