Tog ratings are designed for cotton-covered quilts commonly used in the UK and Europe, but our Corduroy Comforters use a soft textured corduroy shell with a lightweight 200 GSM fill. This creates a different style of warmth that does not translate directly into a tog number.
How the Corduroy Comforter compares to tog ratings
While the Corduroy All Seasons Comforter is not assigned a formal tog score, the overall warmth level feels similar to a nine to ten tog duvet. It provides gentle, comfortable warmth without the weight or heat of a winter quilt, making it suitable for most seasons depending on your home and climate.
Why we do not list tog ratings
Tog ratings measure how much heat a cotton-based quilt traps under controlled laboratory conditions. Our Corduroy Comforters behave differently because the corduroy texture, stitched construction, and lightweight fill work together to create an even, breathable warmth. This cannot be accurately represented by a tog scale.
